About Aaron

My journey into food justice work is deeply intertwined with my passion food as a tool for community empowerment. I am a chef, farmer, and youth educator born and raised Miami, FL.

I am particularly interested in mutual aid networks, community garden spaces, and herbal medicine projects as avenues for re-imagaining our food system. My work is not just about feeding people—it's about cultivating spaces for healing, education, and self-determination. I believe in the transformative power of food and land to build resilience and foster connections.

Guided by a philosophy of radical love and inclusivity, my work is a constant dance between honoring tradition and envisioning a future where all communities have the power to redefine their food systems.

I find myself here in Baltimore, as a graduate MPH student seeking to deepen my commitement to community buidling through a public health lens.
